Job Summary
Provide daily psychiatric care in a 10-bed voluntary inpatient mental health unit at Virtua Willingboro Hospital. Assist attending psychiatrists on additional inpatient psychiatric units as needed and deliver care through the inpatient psychiatric consult service. Partner closely with behavioral health consult coordinators to support assessments, care planning, clinical documentation, and nursing education. Contribute to graduate medical education by working with psychiatry and family medicine residents and medical students through the Rowan–Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. This role supports patients through stabilization, healing, and long-term recovery within a Magnet-recognized health system offering ECT, TMS, and MAT programs.
Required Qualifications
- Compassionate Psychiatrist
- Experienced Psychiatrist
- Daily psychiatric care in a 10-bed voluntary inpatient mental health unit
- Attending psychiatrists on additional inpatient psychiatric units
- Inpatient psychiatric consult service
- Collaborate with behavioral health consult coordinators (RNs or LCSWs)
- Support assessments, care planning, clinical documentation, nursing education, and coordination with nursing leadership
- Contribute to graduate medical education
- Work with psychiatry and family medicine residents and medical students
