Job Summary
Join River Region Psychiatric Associates as a board-certified or board-eligible General Psychiatrist providing inpatient and outpatient care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supervise mid-level providers, and participate in a monthly weekend call rotation. J1 and H1B Visa welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active Alabama medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with patient population hired to serve (child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric)
- Current valid license in the respective State hired to serve with a current and unrestricted DEA registration
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to provide clinical supervision and support to mid-level providers
