Job Summary
Supervising psychiatrist leading a provider-led team delivering care to adults in skilled nursing and assisted living settings, collaborating with primary care, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and psychotherapists to implement best practices. Roles include leadership and teaching opportunities, guiding midlevel providers and psychotherapists, and delivering psychiatry based on patient needs and clinical judgment in long-term care environments. Board certification in psychiatry with active North Carolina privileges and geriatric experience are preferred.
