Psychiatrist

Board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist sought to join SOMC’s hospital-employed Psychiatry team in Portsmouth, OH. Provide medical leadership and psychiatric care within a 12–16 patient per day caseload, participate in teaching opportunities with medical students/residents, and engage in clinical rounds. Compensation offers two base salary options with guaranteed contracts (2 years in Option 1; 1 year then wRVU production under Option 2), plus a 15% sign-on bonus up to $100,000 (forgivable over 2–4 years), relocation assistance ($10,000 moving expense), and a comprehensive benefits package including a 457b plan, 403b plan with dollar-for-dollar SOMC match up to 2%, substantial PTO/CME allowances, and loan repayment options. Practice location is TBD with standard office hours (Mon-Thu 8:00a–5:00p; Fri 8:00a–2:00p) and a 1:6 call schedule. Teaching opportunities with Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and clinical adjunct faculty status available.
