Job Summary
Psychiatrist needed for Per Diem/Backup coverage with the PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment) team in West Orange, NJ. Role features a hybrid model combining telepsychiatry and community-based care, providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management, coverage for PTO/leaves, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Flexible schedule designed for supplemental income and continuity of care within an established PACT program; ideal for physicians seeking flexible, supplemental work or semi-retired clinicians seeking to remain engaged in patient care. Board-certified or eligible psychiatrists with active NJ license and DEA are preferred; experience with serious mental illness (SMI) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license required
