Psychiatrist & Behavioral Health Medical Director

Lead the inpatient behavioral health program as Medical Director, overseeing quality improvement, provider recruitment, and performance expectations. Serve as weekday attending psychiatrist conducting multidisciplinary rounds, initial and discharge evaluations, involuntary documentation, and complex consults including capacity assessments. Provide emergency psychiatric evaluations in the Emergency Department and psychiatry consults across medical-surgical units. Supervise Advanced Practice Providers, ensure same-day documentation with ≥95% compliance, and submit billing within 24 hours. Represent psychiatry at facility and executive meetings while acting as the escalation point for clinical and administrative issues.
