Job Summary
Provide psychiatric support to United States Veterans with dual-diagnosis presentations, including complex PTSD and Military Sexual Trauma, primarily via secure telepsychiatry with on-site presence approximately once per month. Manage care for patients referred following acute instability or prolonged system engagement at an IP PTSD and Addiction Treatment Facility. Maintain active state licensure (Alabama or IMLC), DEA, and CSR credentials while utilizing the Icanotes EMR system. Commitment requires a minimum of one year starting September 2026, with an initial schedule of four to eight hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Active State License
- Alabama or Interstate Medical Compact License (IMLC)
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
- use of Icanotes Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Minimum commitment of 1 year
- Starting in Sept. 2026
- Initially one day per week (part-time psychiatry job - est. 4 to 8 hours/wk)
