Job Summary
Adult psychiatrist needed to provide medication management and consultation within an in-person outpatient/residential setting in Southern Oregon. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating mental disorders, prescribing medications, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, developing and signing treatment plans, and participating in audits and program development. The role supports part-time to full-time schedules (M-F or four days per week), includes in-person work, a signing bonus, moving allowance, and potential loan repayment programs. Independent contractors are encouraged to apply; licensure in Oregon required with BC/BE preferred. The position encompasses collaboration with primary care, clinical staff, and community partners in a team-based care environment.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO license in Oregon
- Oregon licensure (MD or DO)
- BC/BE preferred
- Computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Valid OR driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Background checks as required by state law
