Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage ongoing medication for assigned patients while delivering services to selected Network180 providers. Perform on-call emergency psychiatric coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays per an arranged schedule, working 32 hours weekly Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Maintain licensure in Michigan with a valid DEA license and ensure paneling with all insurance carriers. Apply HIPAA privacy rules and adhere to Network180 policies regarding individually identifiable health information.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Physician
- valid DEA license
- Medical Degree
- active, unencumbered license
- Ability to be paneled by all insurance carriers
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- access to reliable transportation for job related use
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network 180 services within diverse communities
- Ability to adhere to Network180 policies resulting from HIPAA privacy rules regarding individually identifiable health information concerning individuals served or employed by Network180 and credentialing
- ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Successful completion of a drug screen
