Job Summary
Provide direct care to children and adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric episodes in a residential subacute setting; facilitate social skills, educational and therapeutic groups; guide structured recreational activities; perform safeguarding and incident documentation; ensure clients' safety and basic needs; adhere to the Collaborative Problem Solving approach; comply with mandatory abuse reporting; qualify as Psychiatric Technician II with QMHA registration requirements, and bring experience in working with youth with behavioral challenges and understanding of age-appropriate development.
Required Qualifications
- Meets requirements to register as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA).
- Demonstrated experience and skill in working with clients with high level of behavioral acuity.
- Understanding of age specific child development.
