Job Summary
Provide direct care, support, and supervision to adults with serious mental health challenges in an intensive residential setting. Monitor client behavior, needs, and progress while accurately documenting observations and services. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support treatment goals, facilitate individual and group activities focused on independent living skills, and assist with household duties. Encourage clients to develop skills promoting greater independence and wellness while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional needs, establish positive professional relationships, and uphold client civil rights. Follow agency policies and safety standards. Requires one year of direct care experience; CNA preferred. Full-time evening, day, or weekend shifts with alternating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- One year of direct care experience working with adults with serious mental illness
- Must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation
- Must successfully pass a DMV record check
- Must successfully pass a Child Registry search
- Must successfully pass a drug screening test
- Must successfully pass employment reference checks
