Job Summary

Develop and implement policies and procedures while monitoring program operations to assure service delivery within contracted levels. Manage personnel functions including staff supervision, evaluations, recruitment, and coverage to ensure client continuity. Collaborate with executive leadership to address long-range goals and ensure compliance with licensing, COMAR regulations, and CARF accreditation standards. Coordinate relationships with community agencies and resources while preparing documentation for program accreditation. This role reports to the CEO at August Rose Health Center, a CARF-accredited community-based psychiatric rehabilitation program serving children and adults with mental illness. The position requires LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC licensure in Maryland and two years of supervisory experience.

Required Qualifications

  • LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC
  • Master's degree in social work or psychology
  • Independent clinical licensure for the state of Maryland
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years or more of experience working with children and adults
  • 2 years or more of supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral health assessments, treatment/discharge planning, and evaluation of outcome-based system measures
  • Extensive knowledge of the public behavioral health system
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills and relationships across disciplines, settings, and situations
  • Responsiveness & initiative to facilitate system integration and expansion efforts
  • Experience with independently taking new tasks and responsibilities in a proactive way
  • Able to make productive contributions through talent, knowledge, skills, and good work habits
  • Knowledgeable of how to access treatment and/or services
  • Experience in cultivating supportive relationships and community networking skills
  • Ability to interact in a virtual environment
  • Strong writing skills and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in public speaking and presentations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective computer skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
