Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Behavioral Health

Inpatient Psychiatric RN position at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord, NH. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric and physical patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized behavioral health care plans, administering psychiatric medications and monitoring responses, providing therapeutic communication and crisis intervention, responding to psychiatric and medical emergencies, participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, delegating/supervising LPNs and CNAs, maintaining accurate medical documentation, educating patients and families about treatment plans, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and testifying in commitment hearings when required. Requires direct inpatient psychiatric nursing experience and NH RN license (or compact eligibility); shifts include early, afternoon, and overnight.
