Psychiatric Registered Nurse- Evening Shift

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for children ages 6-17 using the nursing process. Perform physical and mental assessments, manage pain, and formulate daily plans of care while educating families. Administer psychotropic medications adhering to the seven rights and observe mental status, behavior, and lab results to communicate pertinent information to the health care team. Execute crisis intervention, triage, and therapeutic de-escalation to ensure patient safety. Coordinate interdisciplinary care, supervise staff as needed, and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and periodic competency evaluations. Work the evening shift with a differential and overtime available.
