Psychiatric (Psych) Technician

Full-time Night Shift Psychiatric Technician position at West Campus (Katy, TX). Under the supervision of the RN and Behavioral Health Support Team, provide direct continual observation and safety-focused care for patients at risk of harm, ensuring a safe environment and supporting the health care team. Responsibilities include remaining with the assigned patient during the shift, monitoring for at-risk behavior and contraband, assisting in implementing individualized care plans, promoting healthy coping strategies, and maintaining professional communication and teamwork. Qualifications include HS Diploma or GED, 1 year of behavioral health experience in inpatient or outpatient settings, and BLS certification; a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Sociology is preferred, with crisis prevention certification and pediatric behavioral health experience also preferred. Respiratory fit testing is required for employment.
