Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for pediatric and adolescent patients from birth through age 21. Manage psychiatric medications, including Schedule II controlled substances, and oversee ADHD evaluations with ongoing monitoring. Deliver brief therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, and supportive counseling while collaborating with pediatricians, therapists, families, and community resources. Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and quality improvement initiatives. This role supports Anderson Hills Pediatrics' integrated behavioral health model within a clinical outpatient setting, offering hybrid work opportunities including telehealth services.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Ohio Physician Assistant license with NCCPA certification
- Current DEA registration and eligibility to prescribe controlled substances in Ohio
- Minimum five (5) years of psychiatric clinical experience
- Demonstrated experience treating pediatric and adolescent patients
- Experience diagnosing and managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and other common pediatric behavioral health conditions
- Knowledge of federal and state prescribing regulations
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, integrated care model
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
