Job Summary
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Washington DC, part-time, remote telepsychiatry role. Conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-ups remotely; prescribe and manage psychiatric medications (including controlled substances) per state/federal regulations; integrate brief psychotherapy when appropriate; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and leadership; use data-informed, measurement-based care to tailor treatment plans. Flexible schedule with ~75% direct client care and ~25% admin/supervisory work, in a W2 role up to 16 hours/week with an onboarding ramp period and potential merit-based increases. Compensation includes hourly pay ranges based on experience and location, with zone-based pay reflecting different markets (e.g., NYC/SF, DC, etc.). Start date targeted for mid-August 2026. Requires DC licensure, DEA, remote delivery experience, and commitment to high-quality, collaborative care in a growing mental health program. Must be comfortable with telepsychiatry and cross-licensing support provides by Two Chairs.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified PMHNP-BC
- Licensed to practice in Washington DC as PMHNP
- Active DEA license in Washington DC
- 2+ years of PMHNP experience
- Open to remote telepsychiatry
- Ability to start mid-August 2026
