Job Summary
Provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to student patients while delivering patient education and promoting overall wellness. Collaborate with staff to develop and implement quality improvement programs and processes, serving as a resource for in-service education as needed. This part-time role includes 24 hours per week over an 11-month academic service schedule with time off for Thanksgiving, winter, and spring breaks. The position offers a salary of $68,000 to commensurate pay, commensurate with Iowa's cost of living, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Psychiatric Mental Health
- national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
- current State of Iowa medical license
- ability to become licensed by the date of hire
- current DEA and Iowa Controlled Substance certificates
