Job Summary
PMHNP provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment within the PCMH model under physician supervision, coordinating with behavioral health and primary care teams; responsibilities include formulating treatment plans, medication management for complex behavioral health and substance use disorders, order/interpret diagnostics, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in quality improvement, credentialing, and community representation; must practice within Arkansas APRN scope and maintain licensure and DEA, with rotation across Fayetteville, Siloam Springs, and Rogers clinics. The role emphasizes evidence-based mental health care, collaboration with care teams, and adherence to HIPAA/PCMH/OSHA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health NP master’s or doctoral program
- Licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas
- Hold a current appropriate DEA number
- Preferred qualifications: Board Certification as a PMHNP-BC (but not required)
- 1+ year of experience as a mental health practitioner (preferred)
- Experience in an FQHC, Community Health, or Ambulatory Care setting (preferred)
- Bilingual ability in English and either Spanish or Marshallese (preferred)
