Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Outpatient Mental Health

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for Outpatient Mental Health at Upstate Caring Partners in Utica, NY. Provides medical and psychiatric care within an integrated behavioral health model, including Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for SUD, psychiatric evaluations, pharmacologic management, lab interpretation, and collaboration with the Treatment Team and supervising psychiatrist. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive Psychiatric and SUD evaluations, initiating and coordinating MAT, waiving-prescription requirements for buprenorphine, supervising staff as assigned, participating in Quality Improvement activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Preferred trauma-informed care, substance use treatment expertise, crisis intervention, and adolescent psychiatry skills.
