Job Summary
PMHNP in inpatient pediatric/adolescent behavioral health units at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health, per-diem shift, on-site in White Plains, NY. Responsible for psychiatric assessment of children and adolescents, collaborating with the care team to determine the best care setting for patients and families. Requires NYS licensure, PMHNP board certification, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a child/adolescent inpatient behavioral health population. Per diem position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth; on-site presence required with commutable distance to NYP. Required Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Master’s degree in nursing
- Bachelor’s (BSN) degree in nursing
- Current New York State Licenses
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- 2+ years of experience as PMHNP in child/adolescent inpatient behavioral health setting
