Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to adults and geriatrics in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, and develop treatment plans. Utilize psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Opportunity to work full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling; W2 billable hourly or 1099 contractor options; licensed in WA with psychiatric focus; DEA-equipped to prescribe controlled substances; emphasis on comprehensive behavioral health care in SNFs and related settings.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (POSSESSION OF A DEA)
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)
- 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
