Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms. Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans. Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Benefits include billable hourly compensation model, hands-on and remote training/supervision, PTO & Holidays, comprehensive benefits package, 401k with 3% match, and more. Pay ranges from $63.00 to $88.00 per billable hour, with compensation determined by pay model, experience, and licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
