Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities as part of the SNF Therapy team; assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, and develop treatment plans; utilize psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; fluency in Spanish is a plus; strong documentation and communication skills; opportunity to work within geriatric behavioral health in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
