Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities; assess the patient’s mental status; diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans; apply psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent written communication
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
