Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy to patients with mental health disorders. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans; monitor and evaluate patient progress; document care in electronic medical records; participate in quality improvement initiatives; provide education and support to patients and their families. Requires Master's degree in nursing or PA studies, current state licensure, and psychiatric certification; experience in evaluation, medication management, and therapy; strong communication and teamwork skills; proficiency in EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Current state licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Experience in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
