Job Summary
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) needed to deliver neurotherapy services in SNF/LTC settings in the Reno/Sparks, NV area. Responsibilities include conducting neurofeedback sessions using approved equipment and protocols, performing clinical assessments, managing treatment plans, interpreting data to inform care, providing patient education, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires in-person rounding in SNF/LTC facilities, strong documentation and HIPAA/compliance adherence, participation in program development and quality initiatives, and willingness to engage in ongoing training related to neurofeedback and psychiatric care.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the state of practice
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management
- Strong clinical documentation skills and comfort with electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with care teams
