Job Summary
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Neurotherapy Provider conducts neurofeedback sessions, performs clinical assessments, manages treatment plans, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in SNF/LTC settings in the Bellingham area. Responsibilities include delivering neurofeedback training, interpreting session data, educating patients on neurofeedback methodology, coordinating with therapists and psychiatrists, documenting treatment plans and progress, ensuring regulatory compliance (HIPAA and standards of care), and contributing to program development and quality initiatives. Qualifications require an active PMHNP license, Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing, experience with psychiatric evaluations and medication management, and strong EHR/documentation skills. Preferred experience with neurofeedback, brain mapping/QEEG, and behavioral health in long-term care or outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the state of practice
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management
- Strong clinical documentation skills and comfort with electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with care teams
