Job Summary
Part-time outpatient psychiatric care for adults as a locum tenens Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations (1 hour) and therapy-adjacent supportive visits, plus medication management for general mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Medication adjustments include antidepressants, stimulants, and mood stabilizers. Follow-up visits are 15 minutes with an anticipated caseload of 2-3 evaluations and 12-18 follow-ups per day. Shift is day shift (8 hours) in an on-site behavioral health and addiction treatment facility.
