Job Summary
Lead the Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Manager. Oversee daily operations, manage clinical and support staff, ensure delivery of high-quality, comprehensive care to acute, complex patients, and provide clinical leadership within the PMHNP specialty while ensuring regulatory compliance. This leadership role requires PMHNP certification and a track record of administrative or leadership experience; emphasis on consumer-centered, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership or administrative capacity
- Current and valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current and valid NJ Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License
- Board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA and NJ CDS registrations for prescriptive authority
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience working in a Nurse Practitioner role preferred
