Job Summary
Lead and manage the Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Manager at Hackensack Meridian Health. Oversee daily operations, supervise clinical and support staff, ensure high-quality, comprehensive care for acute, complex patients, provide clinical expertise, and ensure regulatory compliance. Requires PMHNP certification, MSN, NJ RN and APN licenses, board certification as Adult Nurse Practitioner, DEA and NJ CDS registrations, BLS HCP and ACLS, and a minimum of five years of clinical RN experience plus five years in a leadership/administrative role; schedule is full-time with standard weekday hours and no weekends. Location is Red Bank, NJ, with in-person duties at the facility.
Required Qualifications
- PMHNP certification is required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- Current NJ RN license
- Current NJ APN license
- Board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA registration
- NJ CDS registrations for prescriptive authority
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Minimum five (5) years clinical RN experience in a relevant specialty
- Minimum five (5) years leadership/administrative experience
- Minimum two (2) years NP role clinical experience preferred
- Past leadership in a department/area (leadership or administrative capacity)
- Certification andLicensure requirements relevant to PMHNP practice
