Job Summary
Lead Hackensack Meridian Health's Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Manager. Oversees daily operations, manages clinical and support staff, ensures delivery of high-quality, comprehensive care to acute, complex patients, and serves as a clinical expert providing leadership to the specialty area while ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires PMHNP certification, MSN, and extensive RN and leadership experience, with active NJ RN and APN licenses, DEA and NJ CDS registrations, BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership or administrative experience
- Current and valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current and valid NJ Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License
- Board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA and NJ CDS registrations for prescriptive authority
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Preferred: minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a Nurse Practitioner role
