Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients with conditions like depression, anxiety, and ADHD via in-person and telemedicine. Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms and create collaborative care plans for adults and adolescents. Complete assessment tools, administer paperwork, and adhere to clinical practice guidelines while consulting with regional clinic directors. Treat clients aged 14 and up with no quotas on client volume or prescriptions. Requires a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active prescriptive authority, board certification, and at least one year of psychiatry practice.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification
- Master's in Nursing
- Active prescriptive authority in the state
- Three years of experience
- One year of psychiatry practice
- Licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Ability to make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing in-person and telemedicine capacity
- Ability to prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
- Ability to create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Ability to complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Ability to adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Ability to consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
- Ability to complete an in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach
- Ability to pass a certification exam following the in-house training
- Ability to enroll in and treat ADHD clients
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire
- No employment visa sponsorship eligibility
