Job Summary
Provide comprehensive, cost-effective psychiatric health care to families, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication issuance, education, counseling, and emotional support. Adhere to agency policies, program manuals, and funder guidelines while maintaining ethical standards and positive professional relationships with staff, clients, and providers. Collaborate with consulting psychiatrists and attend all required trainings. Demonstrate strong communication skills and computer proficiency while embodying values of compassion, equity, and excellence. Maintain regular attendance and work independently with complex patient care. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ANA accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- demonstrated ability to work independently with complex patient care
- Current licensure by Massachusetts Board of Nursing as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Current DEA/Mass Controlled Substance license for prescriptive authority
- BLS
