Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients ages 5 and older, developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and diagnosing co-occurring behavioral health and substance use conditions. Prescribe psychotropic medications while monitoring effectiveness and side effects, collaborating with primary care providers and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-person care. Maintain accurate documentation within partner-site electronic health record systems and deliver care through telehealth to build trusted relationships. Practice with full clinical autonomy in a remote setting with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (Arizona)
- Active DEA registration
- At least three years of clinical experience, preferably in community-based behavioral health
- Experience providing psychiatric medication management
- Ability to independently manage complex cases using strong clinical judgment
- Commitment to full-time practice
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and digital clinical tools
