Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, review patient history, and utilize diagnostic tools to identify mental health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic modalities. Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications while educating patients and families regarding side effects. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions and collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Maintain accurate patient records adhering to HIPAA and governing body requirements. Participate in research, quality improvement projects, and community outreach initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP)
- Experience in mental health settings
- Knowledge of mental health disorders, psychopharmacology, and therapeutic interventions
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- State of Ohio APRN Licensure
- PMHNP Certification - Eligible
- Valid Driver's License
- Current DEA Registration
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift 25 to 50 pounds
