Job Summary
Provide psychiatric assessment, pharmacological management, medication education, treatment planning, and psychotherapy at the Acute Treatment Unit for Adults. Deliver crisis intervention, evaluate patients for M1 holds, and consult with clinicians, case managers, and family members regarding ongoing clinical needs. Coordinate meetings, document interventions and program activities, and maintain accurate clinical records while ensuring confidentiality. Keep current on research and state-of-the-art knowledge regarding mental illness and psychopharmacology. Provide leadership to the treatment team while supporting non-medical staff and utilizing conflict resolution skills. Board certified or eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Colorado licensure, DEA license, and BLS certification required. 8-hour shifts, full-time schedule with 7 days on, 7 days off.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited medical school
- Licensed in Colorado
- Valid DEA License
- BLS Certificate every 2 years
- Regular, predictable attendance
