Job Summary
Nurse Practitioners in PMHNP will provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments; educate patients regarding medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes; collaborate with treatment teams to ensure high-quality care; participate in treatment team meetings; assist Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks as needed; and perform other duties as assigned. The role supports flexible scheduling (contract, part-time, or full-time) with a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities, and is designed for remote, home-based work with AI-powered documentation tools to streamline charting. A Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health focus and active PMHNP licensure are required, along with 3+ years of PMHNP experience and comfort delivering care to diverse age groups.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 3+ years experience working as a PMHNP; IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience is preferred
- Experience with a wide range of ages including children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Proficiency in electronic health records and standard office software (Microsoft Word and Outlook)
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate with medical staff, patients, and administrative staff
