Job Summary
Independent contractor PMHNP to conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and prescribe/manage psychotropic medications. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, collaborate closely with therapists to support integrated care and improve patient outcomes, participate in case consultations and care coordination with the clinical team, and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Position is hybrid with flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time) and compensation based on experience and patient volume, located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Furnishing number and DEA registration (if prescribing controlled substances)
- Ability to diagnose and prescribe independently within scope of practice
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience in outpatient mental health or telehealth settings preferred
