Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The PMHNP will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults, adolescents, and children in an office-based setting with tele-health capabilities at Serene Health IPA Medical Group in Augusta, GA. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, prescribing and adjusting medications, coordinating with counselors and other clinicians, maintaining accurate medical records and billing, developing individualized treatment plans, ordering diagnostic tests, engaging guardians/families as appropriate, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role requires independent decision-making within established protocols, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, strong documentation and communication skills, EHR proficiency, and a patient-centered approach to improve quality of care. The position supports full-time or part-time scheduling and involves office-based and telemedicine work in a clinical setting, with emphasis on delivering high-quality, client-centered care.
