Job Summary
Provide comprehensive, holistic psychiatric care to perinatal, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients through a fully remote telehealth model. Conduct 60-minute intake and 20-30-minute follow-ups using clinical judgment to determine session length, adapting workflows within an early-stage startup environment. Collaborate with client therapists and utilize evidence-based practices to guide treatment plans for mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. Requires an active Board Certified VA PMHNP license with at least one year of perinatal experience and 6+ months in telehealth. This 1099 contract averages 5-10 hours weekly with flexible scheduling, offering professional liability insurance and opportunities for cross-licensure sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Active Board Certified VA (Virginia) PMHNP license in good standing
- Minimum one year experience as a PMHNP working with the perinatal population
- 6+ months working in telehealth
- Solid understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions and psychiatric care considerations during the perinatal and perimenopausal/menopausal period
- Grounded in evidence based practices to inform treatment plans and guiding clinical care
- Empathetic and intuitive listener with strong verbal and written communication
- Adaptable and motivated to grow within an early-stage startup, contributing to evolving workflows while maintaining high quality mental health care
- Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms, electronic health records, and google suite, as well as an eagerness to learn new programs efficiently
- 1099 Contract Role; Flexible Schedule
