Job Summary
Provide comprehensive, holistic psychiatric care to perinatal, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients through a fully remote telehealth model. Conduct 60-minute intake and 20-30-minute follow-ups using clinical judgment to determine session length, collaborating closely with the client's therapist within a care model prioritizing clinical quality. Adapt to an early-stage startup environment by contributing to evolving workflows and best practices while maintaining high-quality mental health care. This 1099 contract role averages 5-10 hours per week of patient-facing appointment time, offering transparency in scheduling where you provide your availability. You will utilize evidence-based practices to guide treatment plans for mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions, supported by dedicated HR, IT, and medical operations resources.
Required Qualifications
- Active Board Certified TX (Texas) PMHNP license in good standing
- Minimum one year experience as a PMHNP working with the perinatal population
- 6+ months working in telehealth
- Solid understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions and psychiatric care considerations during the perinatal and perimenopausal/menopausal period
- Grounded in evidence based practices to inform treatment plans and guiding clinical care
- Empathetic and intuitive listener with strong verbal and written communication
- Adaptable and motivated to grow within an early-stage startup, contributing to evolving workflows while maintaining high quality mental health care
- Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms, electronic health records, and google suite, as well as an eagerness to learn new programs efficiently
