Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to the Medicaid population via telehealth. Manage diverse caseloads built through connections with insurers, universities, and community providers. Collaborate with therapists and other providers within a multidisciplinary care team. Maintain a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup for confidential virtual sessions. This contract role offers flexible work hours, appointment settings, and client load. Third Space Therapy handles all administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing, and credentialing. We are committed to closing gaps in access to care for Medicaid members.
Required Qualifications
- An active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in the state of Missouri
- National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Prescriptive authority and an active DEA registration
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications
- Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other digital tools
- Fluency in English
- A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup for confidential virtual sessions
- Strong clinical judgment in managing psychiatric conditions across diverse populations
- A patient-centered approach to medication management and treatment planning
- Experience collaborating with therapists and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Commitment to equity in mental health access for Medicaid populations
