Job Summary
Supervisor of Medication Management Services leading a team of PMHNPs and shared administrative staff to oversee clinical quality, compliance, supervision, and coordination of all medication management services within the practice. Acts as a clinical resource and mentor, ensuring timely documentation, regulatory adherence (licensure, CDS/DEA, continuing education), and integration of prescribing services with therapists. Responsible for clinical operations including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, onboarding/training of prescribing staff, and standardizing protocols. Partners with clinicians and administrative leadership to deliver coordinated, holistic care; participates in interdisciplinary meetings; serves as a clinical escalation point for complex cases. Oversees administrative workflows, scheduling, budgeting, and performance metrics; maintains audit readiness and HIPAA compliance; supports patient experience and outcomes; requires active NJ APRN/NP license with PMHNP-BC certification and DEA/CDS registrations; occasional remote/telehealth work may be integrated. Location flexibility between Princeton and Freehold, NJ with hybrid in-office/remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted APRN, DNP, or NP license in New Jersey
- Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Valid and unrestricted CDS & DEA registrations in NJ
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in psychiatric medication management
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a behavioral health setting
- Strong knowledge of EMR systems, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary care models
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience with children and adolescent populations is a plus
