Job Summary
Provide in-person psychotherapy and behavioral health services within Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living communities. Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and treat depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief, and trauma in geriatric populations. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Build therapeutic relationships with residents and families while enjoying flexible full-time or part-time scheduling with a steady caseload. Fully licensed NPs with an active CA license are required; experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted CA license as one of the following: NP
- Master's degree or doctoral degree in an applicable discipline
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable providing services in nursing home and long-term care settings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with geriatric populations
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, or assisted living settings
