Job Summary
PMHNP – Part-Time opportunity to join Balance Point Wellness, an outpatient mental health practice in Hunt Valley, MD. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments, performing medication evaluations and ongoing management, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, collaborating with therapists, psychiatrists, and other providers, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and providing ongoing follow-up. Requires a Master’s in Nursing and active Maryland PMHNP license; DEA registration and prescriptive authority preferred. Flexibility with a 2–3 day per week schedule, no on-call, and opportunities for professional growth within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active Maryland Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
