Job Summary
PMHNP provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and follow-up assessments; develops individualized treatment plans using evidence-based pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy; prescribes and manages psychotropic medications and interprets lab results; delivers psychoeducation and crisis intervention; collaborates with psychiatrists, therapists, PCPs, and case managers; ensures accurate EMR documentation and HIPAA compliance; participates in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives; role is primarily remote with potential onsite needs in Asbury Park, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited PMHNP program
- Active RN and APRN licenses in New Jersey
- PMHNP-BC certification by the ANCC (or equivalent)
- Current DEA registration with prescriptive authority in NJ
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a PMHNP (outpatient experience preferred)
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience with telehealth and EMR systems preferred
