Job Summary
Provide on-site psychopharmacological consultation, assessment, evaluation and treatment for children and adults according to established practice guidelines. Order, interpret and evaluate lab/diagnostic tests to assess clinical health care needs and arrange an appropriate care plan and follow up. Collaborate with and provide consultation to a multidisciplinary care team, maintain relationships with PCPs, community partner agencies, and families, and attend meetings as appropriate. Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to the person served and their families according to established collaboration protocols and standards of care. Schedule indicates part-time hours (8 to 16 hours per month) at MetroWest Behavioral Health Center in Acton, MA.
Required Qualifications
- ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing board certified
- Massachusetts Licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, and families
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, travel between locations may be required
- Must be 21 years or older
