Job Summary
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or experienced Physician Assistant to provide psychiatric care in long-term care and rehabilitation settings. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits; develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans; prescribe and manage psychotropic medications; collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff); distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders; consult on complex or unusual clinical cases. Flexible scheduling with weekday options (Mon–Fri); no nights, weekends, or on-call; opportunities in skilled nursing, rehab, and assisted living facilities.
