Job Summary
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is bilingual in Russian is sought for a part-time role in a multi-specialty practice in Queens, NY. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations, diagnosing and managing mental health disorders across the lifespan, developing and implementing treatment plans with pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy, prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications, educating patients and families, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, participating in team meetings and quality improvement, and staying current with psychopharmacology and evidence-based therapies.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Must have a New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Certification: Must be Board Certified.
- Experience: New graduates are welcome
